Mollart Engineering – Highlights of the Year So Far
The first quarter of 2023 is about to draw to a close and for Mollart Engineering it’s been an interesting period with lots going on. There’s been exhibitions to attend, new investments, and new career opportunities.
New Investment – Focus on Growth
Our focus on continued growth is still top of our list for 2023 and beyond. The push to expand has seen our Resolven facility in Neath, Wales invest in a Mazak 5-Axis Machining Centre. We invested in this additional Mazak machine to complement the other 6 we already have, so that lead times will improve and we can also now secure more orders. The new machine will also help Mollart Resolven to execute its growth plan by producing a higher production volume.
Mollart Apprentice Scheme
Mollart Engineering has a long-standing history of actively investing in the future of highly-skilled engineers, and many of our top engineers began their careers with the company as an apprentice. It’s Through our apprenticeship scheme that we can provide the training and skills required to produce top-class engineers for the workforce.
Before deciding on an apprenticeship we offer work experience, which enables students who are still at school to gain an understanding of what it’s like to work in the company. Celia who’s featured in the image below, has recently completed her second work experience with Mollart in the Subcontract Division; we look forward to welcoming her back as an apprentice in 2024, after she has completed her A Levels.
IMTEX 2023 Exhibition
IMTEX 2023 Exhibition in Bangalore City India always proves to be popular and it did not disappoint this year, with a record 96,000 visitors. For Mollart the show was a real success with our stand proving very popular, attracting a good deal of enquiries for machinery and tooling.
The great thing about exhibitions like IMTEX is the opportunity to meet business connections and to discuss new developments in the sector. It proved to be a very positive event and as a result, we not only received new business opportunities but made some good sales and supply chain connections.
Career Opportunities
This year will see us continue to recruit as part of our expansion drive and to ensure our departments have the very best our sector has to offer. Our latest vacancies are for a CNC Mill/Turner and Machine Tool Fitter/Service Engineer. More details can be found here at Mollart Vacancies
