Apprenticeship Scheme – Preparing For The Future
Through these difficult times Mollart Engineering, much like all engineering companies has had to adapt and adjust in order to move forward. A prime example being the restructuring of our apprentice training with Yamazaki Mazak.
Our Year 3 apprentices Ashley and Eduardo were booked onto a four-day training course at Yamazaki Mazak’s European headquarters in Worcester. Bearing in mind the date coincided with the lockdown period imposed due to COVID-19, which resulted in the training at the headquarters being cancelled. Rather than curtail their training and in close collaboration with Mazak, it was agreed that Ashley and Eduardo could do their training here at Mollart on simulators. Two simulators were delivered which were situated in our boardroom, where the two apprentices completed the training course successfully.
Having gained an immense amount of knowledge over the four days, they are already starting to implement and apply what they have learnt to their work.
We would like to thank Mazak for their continued support and assistance during these difficult times.
Mollart has always been and will continue to be very active in the apprenticeship scheme, delivering highly-skilled engineers into the workplace for many years to come.
